UCLA is known for its demanding fast-paced coursework. A lot of students attribute this to the quarter system, which means that we have 3 academic terms per year. This gives students many more options to choose from in terms of the order of classes they take together. This naturally results in there being good and bad choices for taking certain classes together, which is a hard skill to master in and of itself.

This project was conducted for this very same reason. In addition to understanding why certain classes are hard to take together, we hope to help students make better decisions in their future course enrollments in order to maximize their chances in becoming successful.
